Jackie is a highly experienced senior leader in the travel, tourism and hospitality space with extensive experience in digital products, online & GDS Distribution, innovative product development, website & mobile product design, and business process improvement.
Born in Australia, Jackie worked in various roles in the travel technology industry for Sabre Pacific and Sabre Inc before moving to Europe, where for many years she was on the Senior Management Team, managing the website development, automation and operational processes during the launch of the Travelocity brands in the UK, Germany, France and Scandinavia as well as being on the design team for the Merchant Hotels, Merchant Cars and dynamic packaging global products.
Moving back to Australia in 2006, Jackie has since held senior roles managing Revenue, Distribution and Online at Voyages Hotels and Resorts, Vice President International Product at TravelClick, then led the Digital Customer Experience Team at Qantas Airways, and worked on a startup Hotels OTA venture, HooRoo.com. Jackie is currently Acting Head of Digital for Mantra Group.

Maunik Thacker

Maunik Thacker is the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Marina Bay Sands and is responsible for developing the overall marketing strategy to drive brand acquisition and international visitorship to the integrated resort. In this role, he develops, coordinates and communicates strategic initiatives and priorities for Destination Marketing, E-commerce, Retail Marketing, Advertising & Brand Management, ArtScience Museum, Entertainment and Sponsorship Marketing.
Prior to his appointment to Marketing in June 2013, Maunik was Vice President of Revenue Optimization at Marina Bay Sands from 2009. Then, he was responsible for devising the optimum business mix, inventory structures and pricing strategies for the integrated resort as well as optimization strategies for the gaming floor. Since 2006, he was with Marina Bay Sands’ sister property Sands China, leading the Revenue Management and Distribution teams as part of the pre- and post-opening teams for Sands Macao and The Venetian Macau.
Maunik’s professional experience in hospitality began in revenue management with hotels including Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, Dubai; Grosvenor House Dubai and Taj President, Mumbai. His deep wealth of experience is drawn from working in hotel establishments in India, U.A.E, Bahrain and China.
Maunik holds an MBA in International Hospitality Management, awarded by the prestigious ESSEC (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) Business School in conjunction with Cornell University, one of Europe’s top business schools.

Michaela is responsible for marketing and communications aimed at international clients. Prior to moving to China, Michaela lead the promotion of bilateral trade activities between Australia and China through the initiatives of the Victorian Division of the Australia China Business Council, where she worked as business manager and lastly as general manager. Michaela has a background in tourism, having worked as a consultant for the Italian Tourism Board in Beijing shortly after the introduction of the Approved Destination Status (ADS) for Chinese citizens travelling to the Schengen area.
Michaela has lived in China for six years, in Australia for six and the U.S. for two years. Michaela Mentasti holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese studies from Ca’ Foscari University, Italy and Master’s Degree in Marketing from The University of Melbourne, Australia.
