The Missouri Chapter was founded in 1953 and represents the state of Missouri and eastern and southern Illinois markets. We currently have over 50 professional, faculty and student members, as we continue to grow as an organization. Our cornerstones are education and community involvement. We primarily host our educational sessions, speaker luncheons, and networking events quarterly. Our chapter believes strongly in stewardship and therefore remains a huge advocate of community partnerships within the industry and St. Louis community. 

To stay ahead in this business, you need a new pool of resources. Membership brings access to a world of resources, including industry news and trends, sales and marketing research, business development tools and much more.

To be the leading source for sales and marketing information, knowledge, business development, and networking for professionals in tourism, travel, and hospitality. HSMAI is a global organization of sales and marketing professionals representing all segments of the hospitality industry. With a strong focus on education, HSMAI has become the industry champion in identifying and communicating trends in the hospitality industry while operating as a leading voice for both hospitality and sales and marketing management disciplines, as well as connecting its members with customers.
