Community Outreach:
 

• Second Harvest Heartland: The HSMAI MN chapter has partnered with Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger relief organization. At each event, we collect non-perishable food items to help our hungry neighbors today, and provide the means for everyone to be fed tomorrow.

• Membership scholarships: We have been working to assist with the financial burden of student memberships at our partner college UW-Stout. We will be awarding student membership scholarships to provide support to our students and encourage involvement. HSMAI UW-Stout’s mission is to bridge the gap between learning in the classroom and real world experience. This gives them the unique opportunity to learn and connect with today’s hospitality professionals, setting them up for success upon graduation.
