Bio

Scott Neslage graduated with honors from the College of Charleston’s Masters of Business Administration program. He received both the Most Outstanding Hospitality Revenue Management student award, and the overall Most Outstanding MBA Student award. While pursuing his degree, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Elected by his peers, Scott also served as MBA class President.

After Scott’s graduation from the College of Charleston with a BS in Economics in 2008 he was promoted to the role of store manager at Starbucks Coffee, where he had been working since 2005. At Starbucks, Scott received numerous promotions and awards such as the store manager of the quarter in 2012. As the president of Charleston 40, a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at the College of Charleston, an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, and the fundraising chair of the first ever MUSC Children’s Hospital Dance Marathon Scott has developed and refined his skills as a leader in his community.

Scott has also held numerous volunteering positions and unpaid internships. Previously Scott has been an intern at Charelstowne Hotels, Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty, and the Michigan-based technology firm Energy Conversion Devices. Scott is currently a volunteer who helps to feed under-privileged Charleston residents. From his past experience as a student, intern, volunteer, and employee of numerous organizations, Scott has shown an eagerness to better himself and improve his community.
