The safety and security of San Diego visitors who visit our hotels and attractions is our top priority. Preparation and education are the keys to minimizing risk, especially in the case of an active shooter. Are you and your team prepared for the unthinkable?
Join HSMAI San Diego as we welcome Johnny Ferrer, an instructor for the Battalion Protection Group and formerly of the El Paso Police SWAT Team, for this active shooter training program.
It will include the actions to take during an active shooter situation, prevention and preparedness, law enforcement roles, and how to recognize potential workplace violence indicators.
We will also have a special guest, our very own Chief of Police David Nisleit, who will address our group at the start of the event.
Bring your whole team: General Manager, Front and Back of the house Managers, Security, Banquets.. everyone.
This will be an inspiring and extremely engaging hour-long training. Don’t miss out on your chance to know the right steps to take when you are faced with the potential of an active shooter.
