Lessons Learned From Events During COVID

When:  Feb 25, 2021

Hosting an event over the past nine months has been a whole new experience. Hybrid, in-person, virtual only...where do you even begin? One thing is certain, in order to host meetings and events, we need to work together to offer the best opportunities for attendees and meeting hosts. Join us and our panel of hospitality professionals as they share the lessons they have learned in hosting both live events and virtual events. What worked and what didn't. What do they wish they had done differently and how to "pivot" moving forward for future events. Meeting planners and hotel professionals will share real life examples of what they have done to ensure safe meeting experiences.

This meeting will look at how to maximize the attendee experience while ensuring a safe and effective meeting for all parties.

Panelists include:

  • Dale Shuter, CMP, Meetings & Exposition Manager, EASA
  • Adam Edwards, Sr. Event Planning & Internal Communications, ProSource Wholesale
  • Michael Martin, President & CEO, National Wood Flooring Association

Learning Objectives:

  • Update on the current situation regarding the state of hosting in-person meetings
  • Industry implementations of standards and protocols as events take place in our hospitality venues
  • Current state of live event gatherings in our community for 2021
