January's HSMAI OC meeting is a joint meeting with our friends at the Orange County Chapter of MPI. MPI and HSMAI recently formed a partnership at the national level to exchange professional development and training expertise. HSMAI members can now benefit from a "dual membership" in both organizations at special pricing for a limited time. We are honored to have the COO and interim CEO of MPI as our guest speaker: Cindy D'Aoust. Cindy has held leadership roles in sales, operations and account management, recently joining MPI in April 2012. Cindy has been in the meetings and travel industry for over 20 years and is recognized expert in Strategic Meetings Management, and will be talking about the state of the industry.
