JJ is a respected Hotelier in the Greater DC Metro Area, focused in Northern Virginia. Her career in Hotels started in 2013 though customer experience and sales has always been an intricate part of every role she held prior to focusing her career path on the Hospitality Industry. JJ has worked under the Hyatt Hotels and Marriott portfolios, under esteemed management companies such as Aimbridge Hospitality, Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM), Highgate Hotels and currently HEI Hotels and Resorts. Having worked onsite throughout the Pandemic in one of the industries hit hardest by the Covid19 ripple effect, a unique perspective into the industry was bestowed driving her ever present love for the Industry.
In addition to her profession, JJ is currently a Board Member with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) DC chapter since 2015, volunteering on the Education Task Force Committee. She was invited back to serve a 2nd term on the HSMAI National Rising Sales Leader Council for 2021 as well serving as a Board Member for the CX (Customer Experience) Program at the University of Richmond. Under HSMAI, JJ has served as a panelist, created and tested educational content and had articles published nationally.
