Ken Gifford is the Founder and Principle for Revenue Optimization LLP serving the hospitality industry worldwide. Revenue Optimization has over 10 years in the hospitality consulting space with expertise in traditional hotels, resort hotels and casino hotel consulting.

A seasoned hospitality professional with extensive revenue management, sales, marketing and casino management skills in North America, Caribbean and Latin America, Ken has consulted for major projects with leading branded companies.

Ken has extensive revenue management experience in the resort and casino space, especially as it pertains to destination resorts, small luxury resorts, all-inclusive properties and traditional hotels. He enjoys building revenue focused teams from the ground up and working with the property management teams to bring revenue maximization to the next level.

As revenue management has moved to the center focus of the hospitality industry, Ken’s expertise in complicated total revenue management for destination resorts, boutique luxury resorts and casinos where the optimization of various customer segments is essential to overall revenue performance.

Prior to Revenue Optimization LLP, Ken was Vice President Revenue Management for SLS Las Vegas where he converted the property from Hilton brand to Starwood and the further conversion of a tower to the W hotel. Before relocating to Las Vegas, he spent 8 years as Vice President Revenue Management for Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas, providing revenue management and distribution service across seven towers comprising of 3,906 rooms, a world class casino and a 141-acre waterpark.

Ken served as Senior Vice President Consulting and Business Development for Rainmaker where he led revenue management initiatives for the Casino industry including revenue management system implementations for Caesars Entertainment, Wynn, pilot programs at MGM, Boyd Gaming and Isle of Capri.

Previous to Rainmaker, Ken spent 10 years in the traditional revenue management space with Omni Hotels and Intercontinental Hotels Group where he covered North and South America.

Ken is a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) and studied at Algonquin College in Ottawa Canada. He is also a board member for Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Las Vegas chapter.
